March Madness...

Well, not it's not really madness around here, I just like the title. :) The madness of college basketball will soon invade our home in the next week or so, but until then, let me share a few pictures from lately. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some basketball....

We'll start with an update on the project...It is almost complete! There are actually books and things on the shelves now. We still have to put trim around the sliding door and put lights in the ceiling, then it will be done. Besides more decorating...like putting things on the walls. That gets tricky for me, but hopefully I'll enlist a few friends to help me (not my strong suit). I do really love how it has come out. It's so warm and comfortable and I like to be in this room now. It's beautiful.

Fun in the snow. Trevor helped the kids make this "fort". It's long gone now. It was fun, but glad to see it go. Bring on the Spring!

This is my proud 2nd place winner of the Lego contest at the public library. He was so excited! He built it all on his own and worked hard on it.
The award winning "Army Base".

Austin and Trevor headed down to a Piston's game and stayed with Trevor's brother, Dan and wife, Martha. They had a great time. He didn't get bored until the very end, plus it was WAY past his bedtime.

Hailey and I went on a long-overdue date a few weeks ago. She decided she wanted to try ice skating. We laughed so hard. She looked like a cartoon. Her legs were flying in all directions. She LOVED it. She kept wanting to go so fast, but her feet weren't working right. I tried to teach her some technique, but I think she was just wanting to be silly. No injuries...thank the Lord. :)
